Lodgers
A lodger is someone who rents a furnished room in your home. They have use of the
bathroom and kitchen, but do not have sole use of any part of your home. You may provide services such as cleaning or meals.
Your tenancy agreement says that we must agree before any new adults move into your home so you must ask your housing officer if you want a lodger.
You are responsible for your lodger
You are responsible for checking whether a lodger is suitable for your household. If you have children or vulnerable adults in your home you can ask for a police check.
